Honorable Myron S. Greenberg

From the Courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota, to the Courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Afghanistan, Judge Greenberg has been a leader and educator on law and ethics for over 29 years. 

Myron Greenberg has received undergraduate (1966) and law (1969) degrees from the University of Minnesota.  He has been a corporate attorney (3 years), Administrative Law Judge (11 years) and District Court (trial) Judge (18 years).  He has conducted settlement conferences and/or trials in countless civil cases over which he presided, and was consistently among the highest ranked judges in the Bar Association judicial poll by lawyers appearing before him. He has also successfully mediated many diverse, complex cases.  Judge Greenberg served on the Minnesota Supreme Court Committee on Alternative Dispute Resolution for eight years.  He has taught and presented programs on settlement techniques for the Minnesota Judicial College, the American Bar Association Section on Alternative Dispute Resolution, the Wisconsin Bar Association, the International Academy of Mediators and the Litigation Management College at Northwestern University.  During 2003-4, Judge Greenberg served on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, handling organized crime and corruption cases.  In 2007, he prepared and presented a curriculum for teaching judicial ethics to the judges of Afghanistan.

 

Judge Greenberg is a Qualified ADR Neutral under Minnesota’s Civil Procedure Rule 114.  He is also a certificated arbitrator. When settlement is not perceived as an option, he is experienced and skilled in arbitrating and resolving disputes.
